At the “VMAs” Monday night, TAYLOR SWIFT called out the White House for not responding to a petition calling for the passage of the Equality Act.

The bill seeks equality for the LGBTQ community.  It was passed by the House, but still needs to be voted on by the Senate, then signed by the president.

Well, the White House responded yesterday . . . and it’s not looking good.

They said, quote, “The Trump Administration absolutely opposes discrimination of any kind and supports the equal treatment of all.  However, the House-passed bill in its current form is filled with poison pills that threaten to undermine parental and conscience rights.”

The administration actually released this same statement back in May.
