BTS member RM is joining in on the Lil Nas X remix fun.
The 20-year-old viral sensation and the 24-year-old South Korean boy band member have revealed their collaboration “Seoul Town Road.”
“I got the homis in my bag (Yeah) / Have you heard of that? (Yeah) / Homis made of steel, from Korea, they the best-t-t,” RM raps, referring to the Korean farming tool, which is also a play on the word “Homie.” “Riding to the farm (Huh) / Grabbing all the corn (Huh) / We gon’ get yo’ money with my homi in your backyard.”
Released on Lil Nas X’s YouTube channel, the track is the first official remix to not feature Billy Ray Cyrus since the original remix debuted in April. The track has already been remixed by the likes of Diplo, Young Thug, and Mason Ramsey, and everyone from country legend Dolly Parton to cooking legend Gordon Ramsay seems interested doing a remix as well. The Young Thug and Mason Ramsey remix even got a Storm Area 51-inspired music video.
“Old Town Road” has tied the record for most weeks spent at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The only other tracks to have achieved 16 weeks at the top spot include Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s “Despacito” with Justin Bieber and Mariah Carey’s Boyz II Men collab “One Sweet Day.”
