On Tuesday (June 18), fans of Mendes and Camila got the surprise of their lives when both artists posted the first (caption-less) glimpse of his new team-up with the “Havana” star on Twitter.
In the 19-second preview, the musicians are caught in a romantic embrace that appears to lead up to an even steamier scene: a kiss. Other moments from the teaser depict the 20-year-old gazing into the sunlight and the songbird as a waitress in a diner.

Naturally, fans were hungry for more details about the steamy project. “Wait what the f***ing heck is happening don’t u dare to leave us like this Mendes COME BACK,” tweeted one user, as another fan made the urgent call: “MORE INFORMATION MENDES!!!!! WE NEED MORE INFORMATION.”
While Mendes remained mum on giving more aspects, Cabello later tweeted, “dinner coming SOONER THAN YOU THINK GOODBYE.”
