An interesting turn in the R.Kelly story occurred as one of his fans helped him out…big time!

According to the NYTimes.com, R. Kelly spent the weekend behind bars after being charged with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, one of his fans has reportedly dug up enough cash to bail him out.

Valencia Love handed over $100,000 for Kelly’s bond,10% of the $1 million total bail. On Monday afternoon, he walked out of jail hours later. “It was his own money,” Love told ABC 7, calling Kelly a “good friend of mine.” “I just posted bail for him.” She and the R&B singer met just five months ago on a cruise, Kelly’s friend Don Russell told the Chicago Sun Times, but Love was reportedly a fan long before the in-person introduction.
