Cardi B has big plans on the horizon and it involves being on the biggest stage, this year’s Super Bowl halftime.
As reported last week, Maroon 5 was announced as next year’s headliners and there are talks about ensuring Cardi appear as their set as a guest. Now, it appears that the rapper has her sights set on something bigger as she works hard on the follow-up to the stream machine that is her debut album ‘Invasion of Privacy.’
According to TMZ.com, sources say Cardi is in negotiations to perform her remix with Maroon 5, “Girls Like You” — and the main issue being discussed is whether or not CB gets a solo set. We’re told she’s getting a lot of offers to perform in early February … so she’s trying to make the best deal possible.
If she gets her way Cardi will become the first femcee to bag her own solo spot at the major event.
