Which Pop Songs Make the Best Lullabies

One of the best things about raising kids is WHEN THEY’RE ASLEEP.  But traditional lullabies are so lame.  Are there any COOL songs you can use to send them off to dreamland?

A British website called Cuckooland took what they determined were the 10 most classic lullabies, like “Rockabye Baby” and “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”, and made a formula for the PERFECT song.

That song would be in the key of C, have 91 beats per minute, and a time signature of 4/4.  Then they found some recent hit songs that are close enough to the formula that they might knock your little brats out, including:

“Only Human” by the Jonas Brothers“You Need to Calm Down” by Taylor Swift“Good As Hell” by Lizzo“Hot Girl Summer” by Nicki Minaj, and of course “Old Town Road” by Lil Nas X.

They also found one EXACT match.  It’s not exactly a new song, but it WAS a hit in its day:  One by U2.
