Anderson Cooper Was Wrong . . . His Mom Left Everything to Him

ANDERSON COOPER just got a whole lot richer.

His mom GLORIA VANDERBILT died last month, and she was worth around $200 MILLION.  She was the great-great-great-granddaughter of railroad tycoon Cornelius Vanderbilt.

Anderson and his mother were very close, but he didn’t think he’d be in her will, because he’s already loaded.  He’s worth an estimated $110 million on his own.

But Gloria DID leave almost everything to him.  The “New York Post” says her eldest son will get her Midtown apartment . . . the estranged middle son receives NOTHING . . . and Anderson gets “all the rest.”

15 years ago, Anderson said, quote, “My mom’s made clear to me that there’s no trust fund . . . I don’t believe in inheriting money . . . I think it’s a curse.

“Who’s inherited a lot of money that has gone on to do things in their life?  From the time I was growing up, if I felt like there was some pot of gold waiting for me, I don’t know if I would have been so motivated.”

Of course, it’s very possible that Anderson does something with the money and doesn’t just use it to pad his bank accounts.
