Ariana Grande got emotional as she sung “Thank U, Next” during her concert stop at the late rapper’s hometown of Pittsburgh.
It seemed there were heavy emotions and plenty of tears cried during the singer’s concert on Wednesday night (June 12) Grande delivered a sentimental performance of “Thank U, Next,” a track which features lyrics in Miller’s memory.A fan-shot video taken at the concert showed Grande singing before breaking down and sobbed as she sung the lines, “Wish I could say thank you to Malcolm / ‘Cause he was an angel.”

Miller died in September 2018 from an accidental drug overdose, months after the lyricist and the song-stress parted ways.
