A Starbucks Cup May Have Made an Accidental Cameo In the Latest Episode of Game of Thrones

Warning: Spoilers for “The Last of the Starks,” the latest Game of Thrones episode, ahead.

While “The Last of the Starks,” the fourth episode in Game of Thrones‘s final season, was met with divided opinions from fans, one thing we can all agree on is that Westeros probably didn’t have a Starbucks on every corner. Yet it appears as if a coffee cup from the Seattle-based mega-chain accidentally made its way into a pivotal scene in Sunday’s episode.

The episode set up the war that’s to come against Cersei Lannister, and showed many of the characters finding out that Jon Snow is the true heir to the throne. Which means that Daenerys Targaryen has a lot to worry about in the final two episodes, so we can’t blame her for needing a caffeine fix. What we weren’t expecting was a full-on anachronism in the meticulously detailed series, which is exactly what happened when fans noticed a coffee cup, seemingly from Starbucks, finding its way into a shot of the grand post-battle feast at Winterfell.

Around the 17:50 mark, we see Daenerys sitting off to the side and stewing a bit while Tormund and some of the other men are praising Jon for being a great leader … with a coffee cup is sitting right in front of her. Did she not notice? How did this happen?
