Britney Spears took to Instagram on Tuesday to address fans for the first time since reportedly entering a mental health facility earlier this month amid her dad’s declining health.

“I wanted to say hi, because things that are being said have just gotten out of control!!! Wow!!!” Britney writes along with a video message. “There’s rumors, death threats to my family and my team, and just so many things crazy things being said. I am trying to take a moment for myself, but everything that’s happening is just making it harder for me.”

Britney’s own message comes after sister Jamie Lynn Spears addressed rumors about her big sister’s mental health.

The singer was spotted with her boyfriend, Sam Asghari, during an outing in Los Angeles on Easter Sunday.
