The performer was at LIV when he asked the DJ to turn Wayne’s music off and revealed that he wished the legend had died when he was a baby.
As expected, Wayne’s daughter, Reginae Carter, didn’t take kindly to the diss. After catching wind of the remarks, Carter took to Instagram to call out Black over his statements.
Reginae stated on her Instagram page “You new lil rappers need to start giving props and respect to the Goat,” she wrote. “My father don’t bother nobody. He won’t even react to what was said. This man be in his own world so leave him tf alone. You pick the night he didn’t go to LIV to say that. You bold.”
The Florida native also denied having any beef with Wayne. “Why y’all tryna make it seem like I said some crazy s—t?” he told his followers. In January 2017, Black declared Lil Tunechi wasn’t the best rapper alive and challenged the 36-year-old to a fist fight for the title.
