Father Punishes Daughter by Making Her Walk Five Miles to School For Bullying

A father in Ohio decided to make his 10-year-old daughter walk five miles to school as punishment for bullying another student on a school bus.

After the Facebook video went viral, it has stirred up controversy among parents online.

Matt Cox shared video of him inside his vehicle trailing behind his 10-year-old daughter. She was made to walk to school in the 36 degree weather for being kicked off the bus for the second time after bullying another student. Cox told his viewers that he wouldn’t be driving her to school, and that she would have to face the consequences of her actions.

“Let me make this extremely clear, bullying is unacceptable, especially in my household,” Cox told viewers in the Facebook video.

“I know a lot of you parents are not going to agree with this, but that is alright because I’m doing what I feel is right to teach my daughter a lesson and to stop her from bullying,” said Cox. “Bullying is unacceptable.”

What do you think? Did he go too far or does the punishment fit the crime?
