Stan Lee, Marvel Comics’ Creator of Superheroes, Dies at 95

According to TMZ.com, Stan Lee, the man responsible for super heroes and characters in the Marvel universe, has died.

Lee began creating characters with Jack Kirby in 1961 with The Fantastic Four and went on to create Spider-Man, Black Panther, The Incredible Hulk, X-Men, Iron Man and The Avengers. Stan’s daughter told TMZ, about his death after suffering several illnesses over the last year and a half, Lee recently had a bout of pneumonia and vision issues.

The report stated an ambulance rushed to Lee’s Hollywood Hills home early Monday morning and he was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where he died.

The outpouring of love from fans and stars in Hollywood has been flooding social media.

Lee is survived by his daughter, J.C. His wife of 69 years, Joan, died in 2017.
