Nicki Minaj seems to be busy of late with social media arguments and now with the latest news, you can add more legal drama for her.
Legendary singer Tracy Chapman has taken issue with music from Minaj’s ‘Queen‘ album and is taking her to court.
The story from TMZ claims Chapman’s suit asserts that she was shocked when ‘Sorry’ – which comprises half of the lyrics and vocal melody of her song – surfaced publicly in August. It received its much-hyped debut on the radio and still is readily available to hear online. Per the report, Nicki and her team “tried to make it disappear,” but for Chapman feels that the damage was done.
As well as suing for damages, Chapman is seeking an order preventing Nicki from releasing the song again.
