Halsey was asked why she wasn’t at the VMAs and in true Halsey fashion, she spoke her mind.
According to Twitter, she revealed her disappointment in MTV’s decision not to celebrate her videography at this year’s event.

The performer thanked her fans for supporting her art and reminded them that she, unlike a number of her peers, directs all of her own visuals.
