After the initial shock about the news of the breakup between singer Halsey and rapper G-Eazy, we’ve just learned there was a project in the works.

G-Eazy revealed in an interview with Billboard.com, that he and ex-girlfriend Halsey were working on albums together before their public breakup. “We were just in the studio the other night and we made a couple records,” he told the publication. “She’s one of the most talented people in music. I tell her this all the time like there’s only like six of you on the planet that are this good. And she’s really rare! It’s just dope.”
