Halsey’s Governors Ball set this past weekend (June 2), was fire and fans were treated to some new news from the singer

The songstress dominated her Governors Ball set on Saturday, use pyrotechnics and smoke cannons for her amazing performance. Halsey even shared an emotional post on Instagram, revealing that the festival has a special place in her heart.

Today is @govballnyc !!!! This picture is from 4 years ago when I signed my record deal! I climbed to the top of the Empire State Building, put my pen to the paper……And then raced down so I could make it to Gov Ball! Little did I know I’d be 2nd headlining the festival a few years later. Thanks New York. You never fail me. You’re in my bones. ❤️🏙 (OH! And it’s the 1 year anniversary of my second certified platinum album Hopeless Fountain Kingdom! Today is so powerful.)
