Is The Weeknd dishing about his relationship with his ex?
His brand new My Dear Melancholy album, dropped early today (March 30), seems to directly addressing his breakup with his ex, according to his fans
The Weeknd, who dated Gomez through the bulk of 2017, has evidently addressed his relationship on the track “Call Out My Name,” which includes the lyrics “I said I didn’t feel nothing baby, but I lied / I almost cut a piece of myself for your life.”
Fans and followers have insisted the sentiment is a direct reference to Gomez’s lifesaving kidney transplant, and how The Weeknd was a possible candidate for donation.
